Adding a TASKalfa Printer on macOS

Step 1: Click on the Apple in the top left corner and select System Preferences. 

Step 2: Select Printers and Scanners. 

Step 3: Click on the “+” that is at the bottom of the list of currently connected printers. 

Step 4a: Select “IP” in the top left and enter the approriate IP address listed above. 

Step 4b: Make sure Protocol is set to “Line Printer Daemon - LPD” 

Step 4c: Name your printer and set location or leave the default 

Step 4d: For Use field, select “select software”, then look up and select the model of the                                 printer you are adding (shown above). If no results come up, see link to                                                drivers below at the bottom of this document 

 

 

 

Step 4e: Select Add 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 5: On the next pane, skip over “Paper Feeders” to Document Finisher and select “4000-sheet finisher (DF7130), and then checkmark Punch Unit and Folding Unit and press OK
